Isolate any machines you believe have malware. Disconnect them from the network and power them down immediately. This can help prevent the spread of malicious software like viruses and ransomware 2. Make sure to report and share information about the possible attack with coworkers and employees so everyone knows what to look for and what to do if they are suspicious. 3. Have a professional work with you to ensure that there is no further damage and as much data is recovered as possible. 4. Learn from each and every attack.
